Beginning Monday, May 4th we will begin to resume regular hours.  We will be seeing patients for routine eye exams and fitting of glasses and contacts. There are a few very important items to go over before we move along to getting you scheduled.

For your safety and for ours, please review the following:

  • Appointments will be limited to one per hour.

  • You must come wearing some sort of personal protective equipment (PPE) like a face mask or some type of covering. If you do not, you will be asked to leave.  This is mandatory per Governor Prtizker.

  • Please limit your visit to yourself only if possible.  Please leave family members or friends at home or in your vehicle.  This will help reduce exposure and transmission.

  • If you are feeling ill or sick please do not enter the office and reschedule your appointment by phone or email.

  • As soon as you enter the office we ask that you wash your hands immediately.

  • Please reduce excessive touching of frames and the frames you do try on, please place in trays provided to be sanitized.

  • All frames and equipment will be disinfected and sanitized between patients.

  • Our staff and doctors will be wearing PPE and frequently disinfecting their hands and equipment

We are taking every precaution to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and these are just the first steps to regaining normalcy.  We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times.

Be safe and be well,

Dr. Varney, Dr. Kasia and the Bolingbrook Eye Care staff

Our comprehensive eye exams includes a thorough examination of the eye. Through imaging and dilated fundus exams, we are able to diagnose many eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. We also provide great vision with accurate vision exams for glasses and contact lenses.

Our doctors will work with you in finding the right customized contact lens that will suit your individual needs. We offer a variety of soft contact lenses, traditional hard lenses, and specialty lenses, including corneal reshaping lenses, scleral lenses, and keratoconic lenses.

We take time to understand our patients’ visual demands. We base our individual lens recommendations on our patient’s occupational use, need for durability, cosmetic preference, and participation in activities. We take pride in providing our patients high quality optics and the latest lens technology.

Our belief lies somewhere between fashion and function. We're here to assist you in finding the perfect pair of glasses to fit your look. We pay careful attention to your facial structure to bring out the features that define the look you would like to create. We offer a wide variety of brands, color, shapes, and sizes.

Corneal Refractive Therapy is ideal for children with rapidly changing prescriptions, the contact lens intolerant dry eye patients, and the athletic/outdoor patients. CRT is completely reversible and there are no age restrictions which makes it an ideal option for children and growing teens.

Patients with emergent conditions can often be seen on the same day as their incident occurs. We know accidents and unexplainable things can happen to the eye and we are here to help. Such condition may include sudden vision loss, trauma to the eye, extreme eye pain/redness, and foreign bodies. If this is a life threatening emergency, go to the ER immediately!
